The Jane Bubear Sport Foundation welcomes the opportunity to work with anyone who can partner it in the provision of sports kits to young people.
The Foundation’s projects have included:
- providing football strip to girls and boys in schools in Ghana, Zambia and Rwanda with netball kits going to girls teams in schools in Zambia and Rwanda;
- providing football kits and medals for the Rosier Life Trust Kenyan inter-school tournament;
- providing funding for a running competition and kit for schools and runners in Dete, Zimbabwe;
-
working with Brentford Football Club to arrange for the donation of Brentford football strip for a Zimbabwean village football team; and
- supplying schools in Sri Lanka with kit for their netball, cricket, rugby and soccer teams.
The JBSF believes that the possibilities for giving young people a real boost through the donation of sports kit are virtually limitless. £200 can be enough to provide football kit a whole school team, so please give generously to enable the Jane Bubear Sport Foundation to extend its reach in 2011 and beyond.
A big thanks to our donors and to those most closely involved in the delivery of these projects:
- Jon in Sri Lanka
- Richard and the Dete schools in Zimbabwe
- Sarah and Maggie in Kenya
- Malcolm and Millwall FC in Liberia
- Oli in Rwanda and Zambia
- Sabrina and Brentford Football Club in London
A big thank you also to haysmcIntyre for doing our audit as a pro bono.
