Perched above the town centre, l’Escalinade provides a hidden haven for relaxation yet remains a couple of minutes walk from the daily bustle of the market, restaurants and beaches of Ste. Maxime.
L’Escalinade is a well-kept private villa, owned by an English family. The accommodation comprises of just 3 double bedrooms; 2 with their own private balcony, the third adjacent to a sun soaked terrasse overlooking the pool, gardens and, of course, the Mediterranean coast.
All bedrooms are situated on the first floor, thus guaranteeing panoramic views and seclusion above the family quarters. A stroll around the grounds reveals a myriad of secret shaded corners, poolside tanning opportunities and a lush lawn on which to chill out to the patter of the pescarium cascade. There is even a traditional boulodrome on which to enjoy Provence’s national sport!
Breakfast is served al fresco around the pool in the garden or, if preferred, in the covered loggia. In the evening the pool is floodlit (bathing hours displayed). There is also a kitchenette by the bedrooms with a fridge and hot drinks making facilities. Please ask for further details. |
